Engraving Names, Dates, Words of Sentiment & Artwork

Engraving directly on the surface of an urn is an optimal way to create a memorialization. Usually, this includes the name of your loved one as well as the dates of their life. Occasionally, a favorite Bible verse, a few words of sentiment or artwork that represents something of significance is also included.  See below for suggestions, then feel free to work with your funeral director to create something special and unique.

Typestyle

The first thing to determine is the type style you would like to use for the letters and numbers to be engraved, laser-etched or sand-blasted; please note that some items are available in only one typestyle.
The following selections are available:

Words of Sentiment 

Generally short phrases of one or two lines depending on available space. Our Personalization Specialist will determine availability of space for the desired text.

Engravable Artwork

Choose from hundreds of images, see our Engravable Artwork selection here. Many can be applied to urns, plates or easels. Your funeral director can show you other available choices. Size and positioning of artwork will be determined by the amount of space available on the engravable surface.
